Kevin Carter’s career spans 40+ years of servicing the Electric Utility Industry. His career began with Niagara Mohawk (Nine Mile Point) serving as the Assistant Superintendent of Records Management. After leaving Nine Mile Point, Kevin joined Stone and Webster Engineering as a Sr. Business Analyst and provided IT consulting services to various Nuclear Power companies. In 1990, he joined the founding team of Indus International (company that developed what is currently known as Hitachi AssetSuite), where he served 14 years in various executive positions, including VP of Global Operations. In 2005 Kevin was a founding member of DevonWay, where under his direction, the first “Software as a Service” application was introduced to the Nuclear Power Industry.

In 2009, he launched a private consulting company that provided executive management consulting to the Nuclear Power community that covered Fatigue Management, Physical Security and Cyber Security. In 2010, he joined a team of professionals and launched Sheffield Scientific whose mission is to provide services and solutions to the Energy sector. In 2025 Sheffield scientific was acquired by Total Resource Management (TRM).
